Partition of bengal

 Partition of Bengal On January 6,  1899, Lord Curzon  was appointed the new  Governor General  and Viceroy of India.  This was a time when  British unpopularity  was increasing due to  the impact of recurring  famine and the plague. Curzon did little to change  the opinion of the educated Indian class. Instead  of engaging with the nationalist intelligentsia,  he implemented a series of repressive measures.  For instance, he reduced the number of  elected Indian representatives in the Calcutta  Corporation (1899). The University Act of 1904  brought the Calcutta University under the direct  control of the government. The Official Secrets  Act (1904) was amended to curb the nationalist  tone of Indian newspapers. Finally, he ordered  partition of Bengal in 1905. The partition led  to widespread protest all across India, starting a  new phase of the Indian national movement....

Judiciary of state

 Judiciary of State  High Court The High court stands at the apex of the  State Judiciary. As per the constitution there  shall be a High Court in each state. But there  may be a common High Court for two or more  states and Union Territories. The State High  Court consists of a Chief Justice and such other  Judges as the President may appoint from time  to time it necessary. The number of judges inthe High Courts is not uniform and fixed. The  President appoints the Chief Justice of High  Court in consultation with the Chief Justice of  India and the Governor of the state.  A Judge of High Court must have the  following qualification: ■ He must be a citizen of India ■ He must have at least ten years’ experience as  an advocate in one or more High Courts. What is force

 We do so many activities in our daily life  like, opening a door, kicking a football, striking  a carrom coin etc., To do these activities an  external agency is needed. This external agency  is called force. Force can either set an object at  rest into motion or bring a moving object to  rest. It can even change the shape and size of  certain objects. Force is defined as an external agency  which changes or tends to change the state of  rest or the state of uniform motion of a body  or the direction of a moving body or the shape  of a body. Force is a vector quantity, which has  magnitude and direction. It is measured by a  unit called 'newton' (N).
